Deutsche Bank is a leading international investment bank. In 2001 Deutsche Bank opened a Development Center in Moscow. Its specializes in investment banking software for the Bank worldwide. The Development Center has offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg, which currently have over 1100 employees.

Post Trade stack in Rates and Credit is a suite of applications responsible for Trade Capture (both — voice and electronic), Trade Lifecycle processing and data distribution to different consumers. Stack is at heart of IB function for Fixed Income trading because it provides central place for traders to know what they have traded, what is their position and monitor risks on the back of this data.

Right now they're in process of replacing previous generation of the stack with the one based on years of experience in both Trade Life Cycle and Technology. Previous version was a mix of Java, Tibco Business Works and C# UI, while they are migrating to Core Java with rest and JMS used as transport, UI is being rewritten in React.

They're also paying attention to non functional requirements — performance is important as AlgoTrading uses their trade and position data to make trading decisions which requires ability to find out about new trades the moment they happen.

Role description

You will work as a part of a feature team on end to end delivery in a complex system (containing around 10 upstreams and 50 downstreams).

As a Quality Assurance Engineer your responsibility would be to cover all QA aspects for your feature:

Creating new test cases basing on requirements, both functional and non-functional.
Functional, system, regression testing (both manual and auto).
Test cases automation (Language: Java; Frameworks needed: Junit5, Cucumber, Selenid, Spring, RESTAssured).
Setting up auto tests in TeamCity, monitoring their runs.
End-to-End testing which involves several upstream and downstream systems (including setting up the environment which can be an interesting challenge).
Coordinating UAT: setting up the environment , showing users how to use the platform, gathering issues and tracking their resolution.
PROD support and issues root cause analysis for your feature.

Required skills and knowledge

Experience in Software Quality Assurance (3+ years).
Good understanding of QA theory and SDLC practices.
Experience in test case and test plan development.
Good knowledge of any OOP language (Java knowledge is big plus).
Experience in using automated testing and automated tests development (Java is a big plus).
Experience with *nix and Continuous Integration.
Source code control systems (GIT is a big plus) knowledge.
Knowledge of SQL.
At least intermediate English (B2).

Preferable skills and knowledge:

Experience in working with distributed teams.
Experience with Agile SDLC.
Understanding of investment banking systems and processes.
