Product Designer

What you will do

• Work with product teams to craft design solutions that move forward the team’s goals and impact company metrics.
• Deliver high-quality, complete designs in Figma that take into account existing insights, technical constraints, business needs.
• Provide feedback on other designers’ solutions and design processes to other members of the team.
• Conduct user research and communicate findings & suggestions to product teams.
• Champion UX best practices, ensuring they’re all making informed design decisions together.
• Adhere to established design patterns, or help to build upon and deliver improvements to existing patterns.
• Balance your own workload and priorities.

What skills are expected

• You have at least 5 years of experience designing and building product experiences for end-users and have shipped design for a SaaS product used by a significant user base.
• Strong interaction design skills: you have experience in building straightforward user flows & information architecture, as well as a good command of UX best practices & micro animations.
• Research and data-oriented decision-making: you enjoy learning from customers and team members, and you’re comfortable participating in research regularly to clarify or validate assumptions.
• You are self-directed and process-driven. You can manage your workload & artefacts delivery on your own.
• You love collaboration and feedback. You understand successful design doesn't happen in a vacuum or in secret. You believe in sharing work early, openly, and often.
• You have an online portfolio or a PDF that you can share with them, and you are able to provide a brief explanation of why you are excellent for this role while highlighting your portfolio.
