They are looking for a Platform Engineer.

The role is open to the PaaS (Infrastructure Core Team), which deals with 2 areas:

Creation and support of a telemetry platform (including work on increasing the stability of the current monitoring and logging solution).
Creation and support of an orchestration platform (including support for the company's data bus (Kafka as a service), provision of clusters to development teams running k8s, implementation and support of geo distributed infrastructure, etc.).

They work with Redis, Clickhouse, KeyCloak, Kafka, Terraform, Prometheus, Rancher is used as an orchestrator for Kubernetes, Prometheus in conjunction with Thanos. They deploy the cluster themselves through Terraform. There are over 50 clusters in K8s.

Responsibilities

Improve and maintenance of orchestration: Kubernetes, Rancher, Rancher2.
Providing support for Monitoring and Logging systems.
Demanding Definition of done, providing documentation.

Participate in duties related to Platform activities.
Maintaining Platform services and applications.

Requirements

Experience with high load and high availability.
System administration at least 3 years of experience.
Ability to decompose any tasks into parts with proper assignments.
Awareness of cutting-edge technologies, considering in design systems.
Ability to clearly formulate a technical task for finalizing a specific system that has failed.
Knowledge in troubleshoot methodologies, finding root causes.

Excellent experience in any of the following areas:

Experience with geo spreading and decentralized technologies.
Experience in a platform-based development.
Experience with Telemetry Systems.
Experience in installing and configuring orchestration systems (Kubernetes).
Experience in installing and configuring Apache Kafka.
