Palta is a venture studio focused on creating and developing world-class mobile consumer products. Over the last 5 years Palta has launched 10 startups, including Flo (global leader in female health apps with 37 mln MAU), Prisma (app of the year 2016, 150+ mln downloads), Simple Fasting (#1 fasting app in the US). Palta is a unique community of founders, investors and world-class experts focused on mobile consumer products.

They intend to create a data platform that would be used by the whole Palta portfolio for the following purposes:

Product analytics.
End-to-end marketing analytics.
A/B-testing.
Data lake for BI and DS teams.
Keeping track of user-level data.

Stack

Main focus

Design and develop interface to the data platform.
Design and develop internal services (event validation, data quality control, etc.) including their backend and frontend.
Develop / extend the mobile SDK(s) for the event streaming.
Design and develop external APIs and webhook integrations for external data providers.
Work closely with the platform data engineers to ensure smooth and robust integration of data.

Job requirements

Frontend development experience (node.js, PHP, etc.).
Backend development experience (Python, Node.js, etc.).
Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong API development skills (API frameworks, such as Django, Flask, Express.JS, etc.).
Strong knowledge of front end technologies (js frameworks) and backend databases (NoSQL and SQL).
