Prequel is a revolutionary creative app for photo and video editing. Daily 1 million of prequels get created, and you’ve seen them on Instagram and TikTok and all over social media. Prequel has been at the top of the App Store and among featured apps numerous times, and they’re not stopping there.

In Prequel, art and technology meet together to bring unique effects and editing tools to users. Their team turns to various fields of expertise. They’ve created a technological laboratory where experts, from graphic and product designers to software engineers and R&D specialists, work together to develop and grow the product.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Product Officer will serve as a key member of the Leadership Team. The CPO must possess strong leadership and analytic skills along with a comprehensive understanding of all key business drivers. The CPO will assist the CEO in delivering strategic initiatives across the organization, including evaluating opportunities to expand the company’s technology and services both into new markets and deeper into the existing client base.

Responsibilities

Live in the minds of our users, understand their problems and needs.
Inspire, manage and coach 5+ product teams.
Systematically analyze user feedback and usage data.
Plan and execute the product roadmap based on an objectively prioritized problems and opportunities in the market.
Decompose complex problems and PRDs.
Understand the needs of designers, engineers, data analysts and management while being the advocate of our users. Coordinate between all stakeholders.

Job requirements

At least 3 years of experience as CPO of a successful product.
Experience in managing 20+ members product teams.
Must be willing to challenge the standard thinking with new ideas, new approaches, and new solutions.
Great problem-solving skills, self-organization and prioritization of tasks in an analytical manner.
Exellent people management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Russian is a nice-to-have).
