Simple Fasting, part of the Palta family, is a game-changing AI-powered health & wellness platform aimed to provide intermittent fasting followers with a solution that would support them in achieving tangible fitness results.

Team is looking for a Data Engineer to help them keep up with their challenging growth rate.

Stack

Team intend to create a data platform that would be used by the whole Palta portfolio for the following purposes

Product analytics.
End-to-end marketing analytics.
A/B-testing.
Data lake for BI and DS teams.
Keeping track of user-level data.

Main focus

Design, develop and maintain data assurance frameworks for the data platform.
Design and develop testing frameworks for the ETL jobs, BI reports and Dashboards and other data pipelines.
Design and maintain data catalogue and other metadata structures.
Track, monitor and document testing results.
Work closely with the data quality and BI engineering teams.

Job requirements

Good knowledge of SQL.
Experience in Python development is mandatory.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework (DBT).
Experience with relational databases including one of the PostgreSQL or other.
Experience with columnar databases including one of the Snowflake, Redshift, Greenplum or HP Vertica.
Experience with creating DAGs on Apache Airflow.
Experience with creating streaming pipelines on Apache Kafka.
Knowledge of data quality / testing principles and frameworks.
