Big Data Solutions is a financial technology firm building solutions on top of a high-performance time-series database with the latest stack and a bit of love. We have two core products that we offer as a service in AWS: Trade Surveillance and TCA (transaction cost analysis).

Our customers include different types of financial institutions operating in capital markets. We use proprietary time-series query language (OneTick) and Python for programming, Scrumban methodology for organization, Confluence for documentation, Jira for tasks tracking, and GitLab for version control. We are a remote-friendly team of 40 employees in Russia.

We will welcome you to one of our 3 teams:

• Platform Team — works with data processing, infrastructure code for the pipelines, integrations with apache airflow, testing framework and python query language. We work with AWS-based cloud.
• Surveillance Team — works with market manipulation detection algorithms and framework, data processing; We are also responsible for customized deployed solutions for big partners.
• TCA/Bestex Team — works with orders&executions and market data to analyze execution quality and measure transaction costs to provide actionable insights into algo/broker selection, toxicity analysis, and execution algo enhancements.
