They are looking for a talented and motivated QA Automation Engineer for Citi’s FXLM Technology team. Citi’s FXLM technology group supports the front office technology operations of one of the world’s largest capital market businesses. Their talented technology group is looking developers to design and develop absolutely new and existing applications on their award-winning Citi Velocity platform.

Responsibilities

Planning and implementation of test plans for functional/non-functional testing.
Will be actively involved in hands on test case design and development, test case execution, test automation development, review of requirements and other project artefacts.
Quantify and track test coverage.
Help design automation KPIs, track and report on corresponding metrics.
Assist in the designing and implementation of automation frameworks.
Understand business logic.
Direct communication with stakeholders.
Take active part in designing UI, architecture and business flows.
Collaborate with a globally distributed team of developers, business analysts, quality assurance and support professionals.
Third line support of the platform during trading hours.

They will be glad to have you on their team if you

Experience in testing mobile applications (Android/iOS).
Have strong knowledge of test automation methodologies and experience of implementing test automation best practices.
Have a good technical skills (Java, Python or any other programming language).
Have a good knowledge of SQL.
Have experience in Unix scripting.
Have experience of non-functional testing (incl. latency & performance testing).
Have a solid understanding of application lifecycle.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and fluent/upper-intermediate English.
Have experience in working within a team distributed between onsite and offshore.
BSc/MSc in Computer Science or relevant.
Support collaborative culture.

Nice to have:

Experience with CI/CD (e.g., Team City, Jenkins).
Experience of working with distributed system.
Experience in TDD and automated testing tools and processes.
Experience of working with document-oriented databases.
